Akin Wedding – Carmen and Togger

In Wedding Photography on March 18, 2010 at 5:38 pm

Togger and Carmen – married on a Wednesday…  not just ANY Wednesday – St. Patrick’s day!  And they didn’t go and get married at any ‘ol run o’ the mill place either… No no..  These two thrill seekers married right smack dab in the heart of the St. Patrick’s Day festivities in Covington, KY.  Molly Malone’s, one of the largest Irish Pubs in our area was throwing a bash like no other, right next door to where they tied the knot…  Needless to say – this was one of the coolest, most memorable weddings I’ve been to in quite some time.. and I’ve been to a wedding or two in my day!  Togger and Carmen – I wish you both the best!  Thanks for making me a part of your special day – and may you both enjoy a lifetime of happiness together!

Schrag Wedding – Nicholas and Valerie

Nicholas and Valerie were married on October 10th, 2009 at the gorgeous St. Monica St. George church in Clifton – near the University of Cincinnati.  It was an intimate wedding – attended by close friends and family.  The reception was at the Madison in Covington – where we experienced some excellent natural portrait lighting conditions!  Nicholas and Valerie now live in Chicago, IL – but came back to Cincinnati where most of their family resides.  Thanks to you both Nick and Valerie for a fantastic evening!  You are an amazing couple and I know you’ll be great together.  I loved hearing the stories about DAAP and the butterflies –  I hope I captured the day for you in a special way that you can enjoy for many years to come!

Gaspari Wedding – Al and Sarah

Al and Sarah – what an amazing couple! I had the pleasure of photographing their wedding this past summer. They were married on a beautiful evening at Washington Park, right in front of the beautiful Cincinnati Music Hall. The reception was at Memorial Hall.  It was such an excellent evening.  I captured the event using almost entirely natural light.  I didn’t break out my flash until the very end of the evening – and I used it only for a few shots.  The Nikon D700 is such an amazing camera – with incredible ISO capabilities.  I hope you enjoy these images – please let me know what you think.  Thanks Al and Sarah for having me – you’re such a perfect couple!  I hope you enjoy these images for a lifetime to come.
